The new Final Cut Pro can mix and match various HD and SD video formats and frame rates in the same timeline — all without rendering. It's also efficient when importing HD footage from various HD cameras and decks (including the new RED-ONE camera) and editing them with Apple's new "ProRes 422" codec which delivers uncompressed HD quality footage at SD file sizes.
